EVA Air breed restrictions

The following breeds may be restricted or prohibited on EVA Air:

Brachycephalic breeds prohibited seasonally (Apr-Nov NH, Oct-Mar SH) or year-round to SE Asia
Dangerous breeds prohibited year-round (American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Fila Brasileiro, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Cane Corso)

Temperature restrictions

Brachycephalic breeds have seasonal restrictions (April-November Northern Hemisphere, October-March Southern Hemisphere). Year-round ban to Southeast Asia.

Cargo / hold travel notes

Checked baggage (AVIH) in cargo hold on EVA/UNI Air international flights. Max 45 kg (100 lbs) including cage. Over 50 kg/large crates need preapproval. IATA crate sized to pet dimensions. Max 2 cages per passenger, max 5 per flight. Not available on A321 or B787 long-haul.

Booking notes

Contact reservations at least 48 hours prior. Submit Passenger's Declaration for Live Animal form at airport. Check-in 2-2.5 hours early. Prohibited to Brisbane/Australia and to UK/HK as checked baggage. No pets under 4 months or pregnant.
