The following breeds may be restricted or prohibited on Gulf Air:

Brachycephalic/snub-nosed breeds and mixes banned

Temperature restrictions

No acceptance if temperature exceeds 85°F (29.4°C) or below 45°F (7.2°C). Below 45°F accepted with acclimation certificate but not below 20°F (-6.6°C). Stricter for brachycephalic breeds.

Cargo / hold travel notes

Pets travel as manifest air cargo via Falcon Cargo only (not checked baggage). IATA-compliant crate required: fiberglass/metal/rigid plastic, secure door, waterproof floor, labeled LIVE ANIMAL. Fees vary by weight/dimensions/route. Contact cargo@gulfair.com.

Booking notes

Book via licensed agent or Falcon Cargo prior to departure. Check-in at cargo facility. 48 hours notice for service animals, 2 weeks recommended for cargo. Healthy, non-pregnant pets only.
